Louis Culture is a young South London artist with an ear for a beat and an incredible flow. His latest single, ‘Grime’, is a bass-heavy cut that shows off his versatile approach to songwriting. Those bouncy bass notes collide with a shuffling drum pattern, and provide the perfect bed for his first-ever sung vocals. The second half of the track stands out even more, with his rapped vocals sitting isolated above a much smoother, more laid-back beat. “Karma Kid and I made this around 2 years ago but for a long time it was just the chorus,” he explains. “I feel like I only just found the right words to say this year.
